Job summary

Essentia Health Surgery Center - Miller Hill is seeking a part-time nurse to provide patient care in the Ambulatory Surgery Center. The role supports the OR team, prioritizes patient flow, and ensures nursing standards are met in alignment with Joint Commission requirements.

The position requires RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications within specified timelines, and experience in an ASC/OR setting. Shift is 07:00–15:00, 25 hours per week, no holiday or call obligations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience within a hospital or Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Operating Room
• Must have experience with electronic medical records
• This position will work 5 hours a day (25 hours a week) from 0900-1400.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within ambulatory surgery center standards.
• Communicate patient care information to physicians, patients, family members, and personnel in other departments as well as team members.
• Direct patient flow of the day and contribute to meeting the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia Health.
