Job summary

Surgery Partners Brand's SDS Nurse position at an Ambulatory Surgical Center requires providing nursing care under physician orders, including preop checks, vital signs, IV starts, PACU care, postop medication administration and discharge preparation.

The role offers full-time hours with varying days and 2-3 closer shifts; start times flex by ±2 hours. Utah RN license and BLS are required; ACLS preferred; health benefits, retirement plan and PTO provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing and current Utah RN license.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Surgical Services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in nursing care in an Ambulatory Surgical Center.
• Preop duties: vitals, IV starts, patient check-in.
• PACU: post-anesthesia care, med administration.
• Postop: discharge prep and teaching.
• Prescreen: health history calls and instructions.
