Job summary

Duke University Health System is hiring a Clinical Nurse II for the Ambulatory Surgery Center in Durham, North Carolina. The RN will provide direct and indirect nursing care, coordinating across Preop and PACU settings to ensure exceptional patient experiences.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care, participating in the clinical ladder, and adhering to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Twelve months of appropriate clinical experience required; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered.
• Graduation from an accredited BSN, ADN, or Nursing Diploma program is required.
• All RNs without a BSN must enroll in a BSN program within two years and complete within five years.

Responsibilities

• Provide and supervise direct and indirect total nursing care using the nursing process.
• Deliver patient-centered care and participate in clinical ladder activities, education, and committees.
