Job summary
Blue Cloud operates ambulatory surgery centers and is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the perioperative care team at Crowne Point Surgery Center in Flint, Michigan. The role supports pediatric dental procedures and adult GI/endoscopy procedures, with a focus on safety, quality, comfort, and exceptional patient experience.
You will provide preoperative nursing care, monitor patients in PACU, and collaborate with surgeons, dentists, gastroenterologists, and anesthesia providers to ensure
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Knowledge of nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation.
- BLS required at hire; ACLS and PALS within 60 days preferred.
- GI/endoscopy and pediatric experience valued.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate preoperative nursing care for pediatric and adult patients in the ambulatory setting.
- Assess and document patient status on arrival, during PACU, and post-anesthesia recovery.
- Deliver individualized nursing care based on age, procedure, and anesthesia plan.
- Monitor patients intraoperatively and in PACU; communicate changes to the care team.
