Job summary
Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers in Flint, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse - PRN to join our perioperative care team at Crowne Point Surgery Center. You will provide compassionate preoperative nursing care for pediatric and adult patients and support intraoperative and PACU care.
You will assess, monitor, and document status, tailor care to procedure type and anesthesia plan, and communicate any changes to the dentist, physician, GI specialists, surgeon, or anesthesia provider to ensure
Qualifications
- Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Knowledge of the nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
- Current BLS upon hire; ACLS and PALS within 60 days of hire.
- GI/endoscopy experience strongly valued; pediatric experience strongly valued.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate preoperative nursing care for pediatric and adult patients.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient status in recovery and PACU.
- Deliver individualized care based on age, procedure, and anesthesia plan.
- Monitor patients during intraoperative and PACU periods and communicate changes to the team.
