Job summary

Southern Sports Medicine Partners is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center team in Germantown, TN. The RN will support procedures, patient assessments, and discharge planning while adhering to nursing standards and collaborating with physicians and staff.

Ideal candidates hold a Georgia RN license, BCLS certification, and have a preference for ACLS. We may train newer teammates with a focus on patient care, service, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia.
• BCLS certification is required. ACLS preferred.
• Two years of experience preferred; training available for newer teammates.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process (Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation).
• Develop nursing care plans in coordination with patient, family, and interdisciplinary staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.
• Participate in discharge planning process.
• Obtain and document nursing history comprehensively; perform basic patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Assist in procedures in the Ambulatory Surgery Center as part of the care team.
• Maintain compliance with care standards and pursue CME/CNE/licensure requirements.
