Job summary

Saint Thomas Surgicare, part of United Surgical Partners International, is seeking a Registered Nurse New Grad to deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery setting in Nashville, TN. You will monitor patient conditions, ensure safety, and assist with perioperative tasks from preop through discharge.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited RN program, an active RN license in the state, and BLS/ACLS (PALS if required).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients with continual evaluation of their condition
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks including conscious sedation and sterile techniques
• Provide total comprehensive patient care to patients recovering from general anesthesia and/or sedation, including discharge preparation
