Physician's Surgery Center of Chattanooga is hiring a PRN Registered Nurse to join our outpatient surgical team. You will care for patients before, during, and after procedures, collaborating with surgeons and staff to ensure safety and excellent outcomes.

Qualified candidates hold Tennessee RN licensure with BLS/ACLS, plus 2 years in surgical or perioperative care. Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork are essential in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Tennessee with current credentials.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required/preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in surgical or perioperative setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients upon arrival to the surgery center.
• Administer pre-operative medications and ensure patient readiness for surgery.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes during surgery.
• Assist surgical team and maintain a sterile field.
• Provide post-operative care and pain management.
• Educate patients and families on post-op instructions and follow-up.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
