Job summary

Regional One Health in Memphis, TN is looking for a Registered Nurse for the Ambulatory Surgery Center. The RN will provide professional nursing care within the ambulatory practice, following medical regimens and established standards.

The role includes planning and delivering patient care, documenting interventions, coordinating with physicians and families, and providing patient education. Tennessee RN licensure and BCLS are required on hire; a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing school/program required.
• RN licensure in TN upon hire is required.
• BCLS certification upon hire is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care according to medical regimen and standards.
• Conducts assessments and plans patient care with focus on teaching and discharge needs.
• Documents assessments, diagnoses and interventions.
• Administers medications and prepares patients for examinations.
• Assists in procedures, monitors patient responses and ensures safety.
• Educates patients and families; coordinates referrals and follow-up.
