Job summary

Atlantic Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Ambulatory Surgery practice in Morristown, NJ. The role runs 8:30am–4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with a focus on ambulatory patient care and nursing process implementation.

The RN will perform patient assessments, coordinate care, document in Epic, and ensure HIPAA compliance while contributing to a culture of safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• All applicants must have a nursing license and ambulatory care experience preferred.
• BLS certification required by American Heart Association.
• Knowledge of EPIC Ambulatory and patient documentation in EMR systems.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to coordinate across care teams.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate patient assessment and re-assessment to impact outcomes.
• Document in Epic and maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Triages phone calls and schedules appointments based on acuity and need.
