Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure by the Maryland State Board or Compact State.
• BLS certification AHA; additional Life Support training per unit requirements preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage care using nursing process for routine patients; educate patients and families; coordinate continuum of care.
• Communicate essential patient/family information to the health care team.
• Deliver care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team in ambulatory surgery.
