Job summary

Holy Cross Health, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Surgery team on a Day shift. This FT/10-hour shift role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, individualized patient care and support the whole-person healing philosophy.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State.
• BLS certification AHA; additional Life Support training as applicable to unit requirements preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process and manage routine patient care.
• Educate patients and families and coordinate care with interdisciplinary team.
• Communicate patient/family information effectively to health care team.
