Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State.
• BLS certification AHA; additional Life Support training as applicable to unit requirements preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage care of routine patients using the Nursing Process; provide patient and family education; coordinate continuum of care.
• Effectively communicates patient/family information to the health care team.
