Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Silver Spring, MD seeks a Nurse Supervisor for the Surgery department. This part-time role covers 12-hour day shifts and acts as a designated clinical leader coordinating care with an interdisciplinary team.

The position requires a BSN, current RN license in Maryland (or compact state) and at least 2 years of RN/ Circulating experience; MSN preferred and certifications aligned with responsibilities. Sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse license by Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State required.
• Prior leadership experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Certifications aligned with area of responsibility.
• Minimum 2 years of RN OR/Circulating experience.

Responsibilities

• Designated clinical leader for a patient care area who works under supervision to plan and coordinate care at the service level.
• Contributes to daily performance and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Implements departmental plans and priorities identified by nurse leaders.
• Participates in interdisciplinary teamwork to deliver evidence-based patient care.
