Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian in New York, NY is seeking a Staff Nurse - RN for the Ambulatory Surgery Operating Room in a part-time capacity. You will provide direct nursing care in a fast-paced ambulatory surgical setting and support the surgical team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, has at least two years of OR RN experience, and a current New York State RN license. BCLS certification is required; CNOR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• At least two years RN experience in the Operating Room preferred.
• Acute care experience preferred.
• CNOR certification preferred (not required).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Ambulatory Surgery Operating Room.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans.
• Circulate and scrub during surgical procedures.
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment in the operating room.
