AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a skilled Medical Coder for outpatient and emergency room coding. You will assign ICD-10-CM and CPT codes across multiple facilities, ensuring accuracy and timely discharge processes.

The role requires RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CPC certification eligibility, strong knowledge of UHDDS rules, and proficiency in Epic/Cerner and 3M Encoder. Strong communication and time management are essential.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a medical coding certificate program or a two-year Health Information Management program.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency room and ancillary coding.
• Must pass an outpatient coding assessment.

• Assign ICD-10-CM and CPT codes on chart per UHDDS rules and coding policies.
• Maintain 96%+ accuracy and meet productivity benchmarks.
• Collaborate with Coding team to ensure coding is completed within two days of patient discharge.
