Job summary

USPI Surgery Center of Boerne seeks a Clinical Director to lead ambulatory surgical services in a multi-specialty setting north of San Antonio. The role includes hiring, mentoring, scheduling and supervision of clinical staff, with emphasis on quality assurance and budgeting.

Ideal candidates hold a BSN with TX RN license and BLS/ACLS, plus 2–5 years OR/critical care experience and at least two years of supervisory experience in outpatient surgery.

Qualifications

• BSN nursing degree and TX RN license.
• MSN preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 2–5 years OR/critical care experience.
• 2+ years supervisory experience in outpatient surgery.
• Strong English language skills.
• Ability to work with physicians and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing and clinical staff; hire, evaluate, mentor, schedule and supervise.
• Develop programs for staff development; ensure quality assurance and monitor budgets.
• Work with management to grow services and ensure business sustainability.
• Demonstrate revenue-generation abilities and oversee client billings; comply with Joint Commission and CMS standards.
• Communicate effectively across teams; flexible hours as needed.
• Maintain organizational and program development skills and proficiency with MS Office.
• Attend all mandatory in-services and meetings; participate in safety and competency sessions.
• Align actions with center's vision and mission; supervise outpatient surgical teams.
