Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in management and staff supervision.
• Ambulatory experience preferred but not required.
• Surgical exposure in pre-op/pacu or perioperative nursing preferred.
• Familiarity with Joint Commission and CMS standards.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop ambulatory surgical center clinical departments, including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, scheduling and supervision.
• Implement staff development programs and quality assurance; monitor budgets for service programs.
• Collaborate with management to plan growth strategies and ensure business sustainability.
• Understand and apply revenue generation for clinical services; experience with client billings and regulatory adherence.
• Attend mandatory in-services and meetings; represent the clinical department in leadership discussions.
