Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Surgicare - Dallas is seeking a Clinical Director to lead day-to-day operations of the center's clinical departments and drive process improvements for efficiency and patient experience.

The role reports to the ASC Administrator and collaborates on fiscal accountability, policy development, and staff performance. Requires RN licensure in TX with BLS/ACLS and strong leadership in outpatient surgery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of professional nursing school (BSN or higher preferred).
• Current TX RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• At least five years OR/CCU experience.
• At least two years supervisory experience in outpatient surgery.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians, staff and patients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the center's clinical departments and implement process initiatives to improve efficiency and patient experience.
• Report to the ASC Administrator and collaborate to promote fiscal accountability, and policy development/revision.
• Evaluate staff performance and credentialing; ensure ongoing credentialing and compliance.
• Lead safety, risk management, and quality initiatives to improve clinical outcomes.
• Leverage clinical and leadership experience to enhance patient care across ambulatory services.
