Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; literacy, communication and math skills as normally demonstrated at associate degree level.
• At least three years’ experience in a physician's office or medical environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily activities of administrative support staff to ensure smooth workflow and operation of department.
• Conducts hiring, performance reviews, counseling/disciplinary action and termination of office staff.
• Manages patient admissions and registration processes in coordination with COB/administrative leaders.
• Oversees billing workflows and ensures compliance with HIPAA, OSHA and accreditation requirements.
• Coordinates with CEO/DOF/DON to improve patient experience programs.
