Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
• ASHP-Accredited PGY1/PGY2 residency or fellowship or equivalent.
• Eligible for Georgia licensure prior to start date.
• BLS certification within 90 days; ACLS within 6 months if applicable.
• Pharmacy specialty board certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Practices as a clinical expert in specialty practice area.
• Develops and promotes advanced clinical practice based upon recent evidence-based practice.
• Provides patient-centered, interdisciplinary pharmaceutical care.
• Reviews orders for safety, efficacy and cost-effectiveness by consulting with prescribers.
• Leads development of system nomograms and guidelines.
• Participates in transitions of care and education activities.
• Oversees pharmacy staff to maintain performance and compliance.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy

ASHP PGY1/PGY2 residency or fellowship or equivalent

Georgia licensure eligibility prior to start date
