We’re looking for an Ambulatory Services Rep II to join the team at Texas Children’s Hospital, ranked as the best in Texas and among the top in the nation. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providers, and staff in virtual and non-virtual ambulatory clinics. Your responsibilities include orienting patients to virtual visit processes, expediting check-in and check-out procedures, reviewing appointment details, collecting payments, and verifying insurance benefits to ensure financial accuracy.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

1. Orient patients to virtual visit technology and ensure all necessary forms are completed.
2. Communicate with patients, staff, and providers about appointment status and clinic processes.
3. Update appointment statuses and manage referral and scheduling processes.
4. Assist with inpatient admission processes as needed.
5. Perform closing procedures such as reconciling fees, balancing cash, and completing reports.
6. Handle charge entry, billing, reconciliation, and customer service tasks.
7. Maintain a safe workplace by undergoing respiratory fit testing as required.

Skills & Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of customer service or clerical experience, preferably in healthcare.
