• Salary Range: $42,697 - $52,744 (based on education, experience, certifications, etc.)

Qualifications

Education

• Required: High School diploma or G.E.D
• Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in related field

Experience

• Required: Minimum of 2+ years in medical office environment including customer service, cash handling, patient registration, appointment scheduling, medical billing, and multi-line telephone experience, or 1+ year as an Ambulatory Service Representative II at Kelsey-Seybold.
• Preferred: 3+ years in a healthcare setting, 2+ years in insurance/managed care including verification and understanding insurance plans (HMO, PPO, EPO, etc.)

Skills

• Required: EMR experience, MS Word and Excel, medical terminology, excellent customer service skills, confidentiality.
• Preferred: Epic experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet, strong interpersonal skills, bilingual in English and Spanish.

• Professional demeanor and appearance.
