We’re searching for an Ambulatory Services Representative II for our Outpatient Orthopedics/Sports Medicine clinic at The West Campus, to provide excellent customer service as the first contact for patients, providers, and staff accessing clinics. The role may include orienting patients to virtual visit processes if applicable.

All successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing to ensure workplace safety.

Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED required
• At least 2 years' experience in customer service or clerical, medical office, or business experience, preferably in healthcare

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Orient patients to virtual visit process and ensure all technology is set up for successful visits
• Provide and process necessary patient forms for visits
• Communicate with patients, staff, and providers regarding appointments and clinic processes
• Notify staff of any appointment changes or discrepancies
• Refer patients with inadequate funding to financial counselors
• Update appointment statuses daily (arrived, canceled, no-show, rescheduled)
• Maintain referral files, communicate missed appointments, and manage referral destruction after one month
• Review new referrals with providers and coordinate scheduling
• Assist licensed staff with inpatient admission processes as needed
• Perform closing procedures, billing, and reconciliation tasks
• Provide excellent customer service and communication
• Manage flow and room assignments
