WH Wheeling Hospital Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care using the nursing process in an ambulatory setting. You will assess patients, collaborate with the health care team, and make independent clinical judgments to ensure quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes life-span considerations, ongoing education for patients and families, and participation in staff development and performance improvement initiatives. 40 hours/week, non-exempt, on-site.

Competenze

• Current RN license in the state where services will be provided or eNLC.
• Must possess current temporary RN permit as required by the state.

• Provides direct patient care within ambulatory setting based on nursing process.
• Performs initial patient assessments and chart reviews for follow-up.
• Evaluates unstable or complex cases and initiates interventions.
• Uses independent nursing judgment for care provided by self and others.
• Fosters appropriate educational instruction to patients and families.
• Participates in orientation and development of staff and students.
• Engages in Performance Improvement activities as appropriate.
