Job summary

SEARHC in Alaska is seeking an Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver comprehensive outpatient care across the continuum. The role emphasizes patient education, medication administration, documentation, and coordination with providers in a fast-paced clinic.

Applicants must hold an Associate’s degree in Nursing, an Alaska RN license, and BLS; additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, ENPC) within six months of hire are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in Alaska.
• BLS certification is required.
• Certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, ENPC preferred or obtained within six months.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient assessments and develops individualized plans of care.
• Administers medications and treatments safely per orders and policy.
• Documents assessments, interventions and outcomes in the electronic health record.
• Provides patient education and coordinates care with providers and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintains infection control practices and upholds regulatory standards.
• Float to other departments as needed to support clinic operations.
