Job summary

SEARHC is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care across the lifespan, administer medications, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The RN will document care, participate in quality initiatives, and ensure safety in a 6 a.m.–2 p.m. shift schedule within Southeast Alaska.

Requirements include an Associate's degree in Nursing, Alaska RN license, and BLS; additional certifications must be obtained within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in Alaska.
• BLS certification required at hire; advanced certifications to be obtained within defined timelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and policy.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain medication inventory and ensure compliance with safety standards.
