Job summary

SEARHC in Sitka, AK is seeking an Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive outpatient care in a fast-paced clinic setting. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient education, and coordinated care across teams.

The RN will perform assessments, administer medications, document outcomes in the EHR, and ensure safety and cultural sensitivity in a team-oriented environment. Part-time, 30 hours/week, with competitive benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the State of Alaska.
• BLS is required.
• Case Management certification - preferred.
• Clinical competency due within 3 months and every 3 years.
• High Risk Competency due within 3 months and every year.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient assessments and develops individualized plans of care.
• Implements and evaluates nursing interventions and patient responses.
• Administers medications and treatments safely per orders and policy.
• Recognizes changes in patient condition and escalates when needed.
• Provides patient and family education related to care and discharge needs.
• Delivers culturally responsive, patient-centered care.
