Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a Registered Nurse for the Downtown Medical Group – Sleep and Resp Suite in Billings, MT. This outpatient clinic role emphasizes nursing assessment, planning, and coordination of care for pulmonary patients.

Part-time position, 30 hours weekly, Mon-Thu 7:30-4:30 and Fri 7:30-12 with a rotating day off. Benefits eligible, competitive hourly pay, and a supportive care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board is required.
• BLS or ACLS is required.
• One year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures.
• Obtains patient consent for care and ensures patient confidentiality.
• Obtains and documents health history, vital signs, and health risk factors and assesses disease condition.
• Provides patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and laws and regulations.
• Executes prescribed treatments, administers medications, and monitors patient response; refers to physicians as needed.
• Educates patients and families about health status and disease management.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

RN License (state licensing board)

BLS or ACLS

One year clinic/acute nursing experience

BSN preferred
