Job summary

The SurgCenter of Silver Spring is seeking a qualified RN for Full Time Pre-op/PACU to deliver compassionate perioperative care for patients of all ages.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold an active RN license, current BLS/ACLS/PALS, and have at least 2 years' experience in Pre-Op/PACU; ambulatory setting preferred. The role reports to the Manager of Peri-Operative Services and supports the organization’s commitment to quality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN license.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications on file.
• Minimum 2 years of Pre-Op/PACU experience; ambulatory setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across all patient populations.
• Deliver safe, family-centered care using the nursing process and plan of care.
• Collaborate with Peri-Operative Services team and report to the Manager.
