Job summary

Tufts Medicine is seeking a senior leader to oversee ambulatory operations for the South and West regions, including Quincy and Middleton. This role reports to the Vice President of Community Practice Operations and Network Integration, guiding access, experience, financial performance, and revenue cycle optimization across multiple practices.

The position requires strategic leadership in a hybrid work environment, with responsibility for physician practices, onboarding, and ongoing performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Seven years of healthcare management experience working directly with physicians.
• Experience in ambulatory or practice operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs practice operations managers across outpatient physician practices to ensure efficiency and patient experience.
• Collaborates to implement best practice models and standardized processes.
• Evaluates efficiency using quality measures, productivity, and patient satisfaction data.
• Develops and oversees practice budgets; reviews P&L and implements action plans.
• Conducts monthly operations meetings and provides leadership support.
• Manages onboarding for new practices and physician recruiters.
• Leads delivery of strategic initiatives and transformation in care.
