Job summary

IU Health is seeking an experienced RN to join the ambulatory Plastic Surgery team in Bloomington. You will perform triage, provide direct patient care, and educate patients and families across the surgical journey.

The role emphasizes post-operative support, medication administration, and documentation, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a $30,000 sign-on bonus available through 9/30/2026 for qualifying part-time and full-time positions.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years RN experience.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC.
• BLS certification (AHA).
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program; exceptions may apply with >2 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Triage and direct patient care for ambulatory plastic surgery patients.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care and patient/family education.
• Administer medications and monitor recovery, with accurate documentation.
• Assist with in-office procedures and sterile field setup (drains, tissue expanders, Botox/fillers).
• Support follow-up care and build relationships with a diverse patient population.
