Indiana University Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for its specialized Plastic Surgery team in Bloomington. The role involves triage, direct patient care, education, and perioperative support in a busy ambulatory setting.

You will collaborate with a Plastic Surgeon and an Advanced Practice Provider to ensure high-quality patient experiences from pre-op through recovery. The position offers a competitive schedule (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM), with a $30,000 sign-on bonus available through

Qualifications

• Requires an ASN; BSN preferred and active RN license in Indiana or compact license.
• Minimum two years of RN experience and BLS certification required.
• Ability to perform triage, pre- and post-operative care, and direct patient care per unit policies.

Responsibilities

• Triage and direct patient care across the surgical journey.
• Provide patient and family education and post-operative support.
• Administer medications and monitor recovery; detailed documentation.
• Assist with in-office procedures, sterile setup, drain removals, and follow-up care.
• Support multidisciplinary team including Plastic Surgeon and APP; ensure safety and quality.
