Mass General Brigham Incorporated's ambulatory phlebotomy team is seeking a patient-focused phlebotomist to collect and process blood specimens at the Boston onsite location. You will obtain quality samples across all ages, ensure proper patient identification and labeling, and support care teams while maintaining HIPAA compliance and safety protocols.

Requirements include 1–2 years phlebotomy experience and a Phlebotomy Technician certification; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years phlebotomy experience.
• Current Phlebotomy Technician certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Obtains quality blood samples using a variety of phlebotomy methods for all age groups.
• Ensures accurate patient identification and proper specimen labeling, processing, handling, and transportation.
• Assists in patient recovery and responds to emergencies as needed in inpatient or ambulatory settings.
• Communicates effectively with patients and care teams to address questions and ensure satisfaction.
• Adheres to HIPAA and safety regulations; handles sharps and biohazardous materials properly.
