Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician to join our Laboratory Services team at 19 Norwood Street. You will collect blood specimens, perform phlebotomy procedures across age groups, and support patient care with accuracy and empathy.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of phlebotomy experience, a High School diploma, and national phlebotomy certification preferred. Pediatric phlebotomy experience is a plus, with strict adherence to HIPAA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy Technician National Certification preferred (HR Only).
• 1–2 years phlebotomy experience required; pediatric phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy specimen collection across patient ages.
• Ensures accurate patient identification and specimen labeling.
• Operates with moderate supervision and assists in training new staff and students.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and safe handling of biohazardous materials.
