Cencora is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support ambulatory services and the concierge prescription program. The role involves creating patient profiles, processing prescriptions, liaising with insurers, and assisting pharmacists with claims and coverage issues.

The ideal candidate will have a Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or equivalent), two years of ambulatory experience, and strong communication and organizational skills. Part-time role with comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years ambulatory pharmacy experience.
• PTCB or equivalent national certification required.
• Trainee license must upgrade to Technician license before expiration.

Responsabilités

• Create patient profile in pharmacy information system.
• Enter prescription plan information for processing and adjudication.
• Enter new patient prescription information in system.
• Address insurance, reimbursement, and payment issues with providers, patients, and pharmacists.
• Assist pharmacist with therapeutic consultations and adjudication follow-up.
• Provide medications and supplies to patients via concierge program.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
