Job summary

Trinity Health in West Michigan, MI, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support a centralized prior authorization clinic. The technician resolves and appeals prior authorization claims for Trinity Health Medical Group, with potential to assist other ambulatory pharmacy clinics as needed.

This full-time, day-shift role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, Michigan LPhT license and national CPhT certification, plus at least one year of pharmacy experience, preferably in multiple

Qualifications

• Minimum High school education or equivalent.
• Preferred completion of formal pharmacy technician training program.
• Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Michigan (LPhT) AND nationally certified as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
• Minimum One year of pharmacy work experience. Prefer experience in multiple healthcare settings.
• Prefer previous experience working within multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• The Pharmacy Technician will primarily support a centralized prior authorization clinic in West Michigan, MI. Pharmacy technician support involves resolving and appealing prior authorization claims from Trinity Health Medical Group.
