Job summary

Trinity Health MI is seeking an Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician to join our day shift, full-time team. The role primarily supports a centralized Prior Authorization Clinic servicing Trinity Health Medical Group practices across West Michigan.

Responsibilities include resolving prior authorization requests and ensuring patient access to medications, with potential to support other ambulatory clinics as needed. Michigan LPhT and CPhT licensure or eligibility within six months is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician training program preferred.
• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Michigan (LPhT) and nationally certified (CPhT), or eligible to obtain certification within six months with prior experience.
• Minimum of one year of pharmacy work experience required; experience in multiple healthcare settings preferred.
• Previous experience working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support a centralized Prior Authorization Clinic serving Trinity Health Medical Group practices across West Michigan.
• Resolve and appeal prior authorization requests.
• Support medication access for patients.
• Provide support to other ambulatory pharmacy clinics as needed.
