Job summary

Trinity Health MI is seeking an Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician to join a centralized Prior Authorization Clinic serving Trinity Health Medical Group practices across West Michigan. The role supports medication access for patients and resolves prior authorization requests.

Full-time, day shift with comprehensive benefits. Minimum one year of pharmacy experience and MI licensure/certification required or within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician training program preferred.
• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Michigan (LPhT) and nationally certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), or eligible to obtain national certification within six months of hire with prior pharmacy technician experience.
• Minimum of one year of pharmacy work experience required; experience in multiple healthcare settings preferred.
• Previous experience working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Pharmacy Technician will primarily support a centralized Prior Authorization Clinic serving Trinity Health Medical Group practices throughout West Michigan.
• Responsibilities include resolving and appealing prior authorization requests and supporting medication access for patients.
• The technician may also provide support to other ambulatory pharmacy clinics as needed.
