Job summary

Cencora is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join our hybrid team serving the Orlando area, with a focus on ambulatory and specialty pharmacy workflows. This role involves coordinating with physician offices, processing prescriptions, and navigating insurance adjudication to maximize patient access.

The ideal candidate holds a PharmD, an unrestricted license, and 5+ years of relevant experience in community/retail/ambulatory settings, including prior authorizations.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with pharmacy dispensing systems and insurance adjudication.
• Comfortable reading/writing notes in patient medical records and clinical data.

Responsibilities

• Access physician practices for specialty Rx value and arrange meetings with stakeholders.
• Demonstrate ambulatory pharmacy partnership value to specialty practices.
• Process prescriptions including insurance adjudication and prior authorizations.
• Coordinate patient pickup/courier delivery and ensure refills are ordered on time.
• Coach and develop staff and oversee onboarding and career development.
• Provide oversight to associates in line with policies and procedures.
