Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Specialty Pharmacist Navigator to build relationships with physicians using specialty medications, provide training, and assist patients. This hybrid role is focused in the Orlando/Daytona Beach area, with remote work where appropriate.

Ideal candidates hold an unrestricted pharmacist license, 5+ years in ambulatory or health-system pharmacy, and experience with prior authorizations. The position involves coordination of care, payer interactions, and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted pharmacist license in the appropriate state of practice.
• PharmD degree strongly preferred.
• 5+ years community/retail/ambulatory pharmacy or health-system related experience.
• Previous experience in a specialty pharmacy and/or processing prior authorizations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Access physician practices for specialty Rx value using available tools/data.
• Establish meetings with key stakeholders/decision makers in targeted practices.
• Demonstrate value of ambulatory pharmacy partnerships to specialty practices.
• Ensure prescriptions flow through to ambulatory pharmacy and are identified by staff.
• Coordinate pickup/courier delivery of prescriptions with patients.
• Submit and manage prior authorization paperwork and denials.
• Assist with program financial reporting to client/data collection.
