Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Specialty Pharmacist Navigator to build partnerships with physician practices using specialty medications. This hybrid role targets the Orlando, FL or Daytona Beach, FL area, and involves coordinating prescriptions, prior authorizations, and patient access programs.

Ideal candidates will have an unrestricted pharmacist license, 5+ years in pharmacy settings, and experience with specialty workflows.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted pharmacist license in the appropriate state of practice; PharmD degree strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of community/retail/ambulatory pharmacy or health-system related experience.
• Experience in specialty pharmacy and/or processing prior authorizations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with physician practices to discuss specialtyRx value.
• Coordinate prescriptions through ambulatory pharmacy and ensure proper staff identification.
• Prepare and submit prior authorization paperwork; manage denials.
• Coordinate patient access via financial assistance programs and charity foundations.
• Provide oversight to staff and assist with onboarding and training.
