Job summary

Dignity Health Medical Foundation is seeking a Pharmacy Coordinator Ambulatory Clinic Lead to coordinate the Pharmacy Coordinator Team and work with ambulatory care staff, payers, and medication assistance programs to secure access to prescribed medications.

This remote California-based role requires experience in non-acute care pharmacy, strong customer service, and the ability to mentor teammates while managing prior authorizations and patient access programs. Home equipment is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a non-acute care licensed pharmacy.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to mentor team members.
• Experience with pharmaceutical/drug assistance programs and pharmacy/medical insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy Coordinator Team.
• Assist in patient access to medications via prior authorizations and assistance programs.
• Provide guidance to team on complex cases and ensure consistent processes.
