Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a Program Manager of Patient Safety to lead ambulatory safety, accreditation, and regulatory compliance across the Medical Group. You will monitor safety data, identify improvement opportunities, and coordinate action plans with clinical and operational teams to advance high‑quality, patient‑centered care.

Ideal candidates have strong accreditation and patient-safety experience; CPHQ is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Delaware, or eligibility for Delaware licensure through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• Three to five years of clinical nursing experience in ambulatory practice, medical-surgical, ED or critical care.
• CPHQ certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and SME in patient safety, accreditation, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement across MGCC ambulatory practices.
• Develop and monitor safety metrics, facilitate root‑cause analyses, and maintain risk‑reduction strategies.
• Coordinate with clinical and operational leaders; monitor progress and outcomes; enable action plans.
• Support regulatory readiness through rounds, tracer activities, compliance assessments, and participation in Joint Commission, CMS, and other surveys.
