St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Ambulatory Services in Texas.

You will evaluate patients pre-operatively, educate families, and ensure safe preparation and administration of perioperative care within a collaborative surgical team. You will work with a multidisciplinary staff to uphold evidence-based practices, contribute to patient safety, and participate in continuous improvement of the surgical workflow.

Qualifications

• BSCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN license/registration is required.
• Registered Nurse Diploma is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Provide patient and family education surrounding the procedure and peri-operative process.
• Prepare patients including IV therapy and preoperative medications, and verify surgical site.
