Job summary

CommUnityCare Health Centers seeks an Associate Director, Ambulatory Operations to lead day-to-day operations for a group of clinics in the Austin area. You will ensure patient flow, staffing alignment, and high-quality service delivery across sites.

The role partners with Nursing, Clinical Services and Revenue Cycle to optimize access, care delivery, and performance. Strong leadership, data and process-improvement skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Administration, Nursing, Public Health or related field.
• 5+ years in ambulatory or healthcare operations with 3+ years in supervision.
• Experience with dashboards, EMR systems, and operational reporting tools.
• Prior work in primary care groups, FQHC, or integrated care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations for an assigned group of health centers.
• Lead site administrators, practice managers, and other leaders.
• Implement clinic-network standards and workflows.
• Monitor performance using dashboards, KPIs, and reports.
• Collaborate with Nursing, Clinical Services, and Finance teams.
• Support readiness for expansions, new programs, and service changes.
