Job summary

CommUnityCare is seeking a Nursing Practice & Professional Development Manager to oversee nursing and medical assistant practices across ambulatory care sites in Austin, Texas. This role ensures compliance with clinical practices, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards, playing a crucial role in risk reduction and quality improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN), at least 5 years of experience in clinical governance and ambulatory care, and an active Texas RN license. The role requires strong leadership abilities, knowledge of evidence-based practices, and effective communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • 5 years of experience with 2-3 years in ambulatory care.
  • Texas Active Registered Nurse license required.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain standardized scope of practice for Nurses and Medical Assistants.
  • Lead development of SOPs and SDOs.
  • Monitor changes in regulations and update standards.
