Job summary

UW Medicine Ambulatory Division is seeking a Project Manager to drive complex hospital operations projects across Harborview Medical Center, UW Medical Center – Montlake, and Northwest facilities. The role focuses on lifecycle management, governance, and cross-team collaboration to achieve prioritized outcomes.

The candidate will partner with IT, Facilities and Finance, ensuring milestones, risks and budgets are tracked.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, business administration, health care administration or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex operational projects throughout the entire project lifecycle--initiation through closure
• Provides project management for full project life cycle of complex, top-priority operational projects
• Monitors and manages project health with strong documentation including milestones, deliverables, scope, risks, issues and resources needed to successfully execute the projects
• Builds and utilizes common project management tools and standard approaches while managing multiple stakeholders
• Work with sponsors and key leaders to establish key success metrics for the project
• Use expertise in standard project management tools including but not limited to charters, project plans / Gantt charts, RAID logs, RACI, communication plans, change management plans and executive status reporting
• Establish project governance, manage risk and issues and handle project escalations to keep projects within scope, schedule and budget
