Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Senior Project Manager for a large Seattle healthcare organization to lead a hospital activation, relocation, and move initiative. The role requires onsite involvement and coordination across project teams, vendors, and clinical stakeholders.

You will manage schedules, risks, and dependencies, oversee equipment inventory and tagging, and ensure operational readiness and cross‑functional alignment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressively responsible project or program management experience.
• Strong project management fundamentals with demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style based on the audience.
• Strong stakeholder management experience across executives, operational teams, vendors, and project teams.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, deadlines, and changing information.
• Comfortable working hands-on and onsite, including supporting physical activation, transition, relocation, or move activities.
• Experience developing and maintaining detailed project plans, schedules, timelines, risks, dependencies, and resource requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to identify issues early, mitigate risks, resolve conflicts, and keep teams on track.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience with project management tools, Gantt charts, resource tracking, and reporting systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Teams, Planner, Excel, and Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, scheduling, scope refinement, risk management, operational readiness, resource coordination, vendor engagement, and execution.
• Support the physical hospital activation and move, including move sequencing, equipment/inventory coordination, asset tagging, and onsite transition activities.
• Maintain integrated project plans, schedules, dependencies, risks, action items, and project documentation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including project managers, operational teams, clinical stakeholders, executive leadership, and external vendors.
• Serve as a central point of coordination and communication, ensuring stakeholders remain informed and aligned as plans evolve.
• Navigate conflicting or changing information, clarify priorities, manage issues, and keep teams focused on agreed-upon plans and deadlines.
• Facilitate decision-making and resolve issues or conflicts that could impact project execution or operational readiness.
• Monitor procurement activities, vendor engagement, resource allocation, and sequencing of project and move activities.
• Provide budget, labor cost, schedule, risk, and performance reporting to program leadership.
• Ensure deliverables meet organizational requirements and stakeholder expectations.
• Support post-project or phase evaluations, lessons learned, and process improvements.

Location: Seattle, WA – Hybrid/Onsite as Needed

Duration: 18+ Months with Potential for Extension or Conversion

Pay Rate: $70 - 80/hr W2

A large healthcare organization is seeking a hands-on Senior Project Manager to support a complex, large-scale hospital construction, activation, and move initiative in Seattle. This role will lead a critical workstream while coordinating cross-functional teams, stakeholders, vendors, schedules, risks, and operational readiness.

This is not a desk-only project management role. The Senior Project Manager will spend time onsite understanding where teams and equipment are moving from and to, helping oversee inventory and tagging of incoming equipment and assets, coordinating move activities, and ensuring teams remain aligned throughout the transition.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized, adaptable Project Manager who can confidently navigate a complex environment with changing information and competing priorities. Strong communication and stakeholder management are critical, this person must be able to adjust their communication style when working with executives, project teams, vendors, clinical stakeholders, and frontline staff.

Healthcare, BioMed, or construction experience is helpful, but strong project management, communication, organization, and team fit are the primary priorities.
