Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Pharmacy Technician State License required; CPhT preferred.
• 2–3 years hospital-related experience or training recommended.
• Knowledge of drug dispensing laws and regulations.
• Familiarity with calibration, labeling, and inventory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and delivery of medications.
• Deliver and distribute medications to patient care areas.
• Utilize robotics, automation, software, and ADCs.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory.
• Under pharmacist supervision, prepare extemporaneous dosage forms.
• Train junior staff and triage pharmacy calls.
